My Reviews - I recently decided I would review the things I do in London, and here is the running story.
Pizza Review: Richmoor's Pizza - October 9, 2021
Pizza Ordered: Pumpkin Pizza (Seasonal), Medium Canadian, Large 5 Meat Treat
Overall Score: 7 / 10
Anna: Too much ground beef on the 5 Meat. Dough was bland and dense.
Jonathan: This reminded me of Dominos. Crust was too heavy and might have been undercooked? Not sure, I am not a fan, it was a dense heavy pizza.
Vinny: The bottom and crust is crispy but then soft. It is a good thickness, very filling. Bacon is cooked from the top and well, though there is a lot of it.
Jordan: The dough comes across undercooked. Toppings need to be more crispy, bacon has cripy edges then stringy middle where it was touching the cheese. The pumpkin spice pizza was not at all enjoyable, squash really did not work.
Pizza Review: Through Thick and Thin - October 2, 2021
Pizza Ordered: Detroit Style Pepperoni (Deep Dish)
Overall Score: 9 / 10
Anna: Love the crispy crunch of the deep dish crunch, so satisfying. This pizza is a little heavy on the sauce for my liking.
Jonathan: This is the best deep dish I have had in London. I liked the sauce to dough ratio, there is a lot of dough so I like more sauce. The dough is fluffy despite how much more there is in a slice normally. Too much pepperoni on top. I get it, its a style choice / statement, but too much, the pepperoni varied wildly and some did not taste cooked at all. I was only able to eat two slices, but that was plenty.
I would order from here again the next time I'm crazing deep dish.
Pizza Review: Bondi's Pizza - September 25, 2021
Pizza Ordered: Medium Classic / Medium Classico
Overall Score: 8 / 10
Anna: Perfect amount of sauce, it's thin crust without being thin crust, so its very light to chew and enjoy. I have ordered this before and consider it my favourite, so I am disappointed they forgot the dusting of spices on top and I deducted 1 pt for that.
Jonathan: Quality of ingredients was evident in each bite. Thin yet dense dough and crust was very enjoyable. I did enjoy the sprinkle seasoning /spice that Classic was missing. Hot peppers (banana peppers) were disappointingly average/below average for this pizza.
We would order from here again, ensure they add the seasoning and stick to a 3 topping or less pizza. Very enjoyable!
